The obvious thing here is follow your 'daily quests' which will lead you through everything to do daily so that you can get the rewards for each step. And oh by the way, you need to actually CLICK on the rewards at the top of the 'activity points' button to get the rewards (don't laugh I've talked to a couple of people that didn't realize that and thought they just came automatically).

A few things people miss or just don't do.

You have 2 free arena battles you can do daily. Do them. Don't fail. This is the single best way to increase your champs level quickly. Put in the champs that you NEED to level up first and go as high as you can with them.... then put in your best champs and go as high as you can with them to get them added experience also. Rinse and repeat.

You have 20 (yes that's TWENTY) battles you can complete daily in the battle screen. I know a LOT of people that fail to do these and guys... it's a great way to get experience for your champs and also some extra military merits as well. You will lose troops here so keep that in mind but pick a level that's as high as you can go while affording the troop loss and just battle it over and over and over again. Hint: you don't have to watch the battles... just attack, close and do over again. By now most people should have completed the first level and maybe even the 2nd level of this and are working your way through the 'hell' level. That's where you'll get the most experience and merits obviously. If you have questions, ask.

Do your 5 prestige quests. This gives you 5 more chances in the tavern to acquire a champ along with the 3 free you have already... so that's 8 chances per day. Do not fail at doing this. You WANT champs.

Do the tourney. I also know a few that don't do this... but it's really not a waste of time, even if you're just going to lose. You don't lose troops and you gain military merits win or lose. Half the amount on a loss but even if you do it just 5 times a day those extra merits are nice and will add up.
