Using Alliance Barracks

(btw, Amastacia= Allana. for some reason, i couldn't use my in-game name in the forum)
is it worth while using the alliance barracks to level up troops? or rather, when is it worth doing?

I always do it when I have an abundance of copper.
Your troops are significantly stronger at a higher level, you can really notice it in tournament.
I tend to go for my swordsmen, the longer they hold up the more chance of winning.
It is a drag though when sending troops into battle, at a certain point you need to check the deployment,
because troops of a different level don't mix (i.e. make sure you have enough troops or your heroes go into
battle with too few men at their command)
